Laser, plasma, or punching cutting is just the first step. The final quality of a metal part is defined by its finish. Our Automatic Deburring and Brushing Machines remove sharp burrs, round edges, and create uniform textures in seconds, replacing the dirty and dangerous manual labor of multiple operators with grinders.

Why automate the sanding process?

Manual sanding is the most common bottleneck in the metalworking industry. It's slow, inconsistent, and generates harmful dust. By integrating a Bescutter wide-belt deburring machine into your line, you get:

  • Exponential Speed: What takes an operator 20 minutes to sand by hand, the machine processes in a single 10-second pass.
  • Total Consistency: All pieces come out with the same "grain" or satin finish, without the irregular marks of hand tools.
  • Workplace Safety: Eliminates sharp edges (razor edge) that cause accidents during assembly or shipping.

Finishing Technologies: Belts vs. Brushes

Our teams combine different workstations to achieve the exact result your client demands:

1. Abrasive Belt Stations (TK Series)

They use a wide industrial sanding belt to remove the vertical burr (dross) left by the laser or plasma cutting. They are also excellent for calibrating the thickness of the part or cleaning the oxide layer on carbon steel before painting.

2. Planetary Brush Stations (BR Series)

The key to perfect painting. These flexible brushes rotate over the piece to perform edge rounding .

  • Why round edges? At a sharp 90° corner, powder or liquid paint tends to shrink as it dries, leaving the edge exposed to corrosion. By gently rounding the edge, the paint adheres evenly, ensuring quality certification (e.g., salt spray testing).

Applications and Materials

These machines are essential for processing:

  • Stainless Steel: To give that aesthetic satin (brushed) finish seen in industrial kitchens and elevators.
  • Carbon Steel and Galvanized Steel: Rust removal and surface preparation for welding or painting.
  • Aluminum: Removal of sticky burrs without deforming the flat part.
  • Parts with Plastic Film: Some models allow deburring parts without removing the protective plastic (Laser Film).

Industrial Features Bestutter

  • Vacuum or Magnetic Table: Powerful clamping systems to process even small parts (like "chocolate") without them moving inside the machine.
  • Automatic Wear Compensation: The system measures how much the sandpaper has worn down and automatically adjusts the height to maintain constant pressure.
  • Dust Extraction: Prepared to connect to wet or dry dust collectors, keeping the plant air breathable (meeting STPS/OSHA standards).

Stop sanding by hand. Transform your workshop into a world-class factory with Bestutter automated finishing.
